Back in 2007 I attended Festival of the Dead in Sydney, and on the second day I decided to take my camera along, just in case I got the chance to shoot. The day produced my first live shots and I really enjoyed shooting and editing the results.
In the following week I decided to send pictures of the gig through to some of the bands and was blown away by their response to my work. Fleshgore and The Amenta to name just two, used my work, which was amazing.
Since then I have shot as many concerts as possible, my passion for photography has grown to equal my passion for metal - together these two mediums are my inspiration.
I have had the very great pleasure of shooting with some of Australia's biggest metal bands, such as Psycroptic, The Berzerker and The Amenta and several overseas acts including Akercocke, Fleshgore, Deathstars and Hanzel Und Gretyl. I regularly shoot with Our Last Enemy and just recently had an amazing evening shooting Nazxul for their return to the Sydney stage.
